I have been designing and making furniture since 1989.  I studied design and cabinet making at John Makepeace’s Parnham School in Dorset UK, from where I graduated with a distinction.  I have been a member of The Chartered Society of Designers since 1992

In 1992 I founded Gaze Burvill with Simon Burvill, where I was responsible for the design and manufacture of their distinctive and highly acclaimed range of exterior furniture.  The furniture is now in many prestigious locations.   

I have a workshop close to Marciac in South West France where I have lived since 2002 and from where I continue to design and make.
